ENGLISH PANEL ACTIVITIES 2011

- English Language teachers conducted extra English classes for Yr 6 pupils ( Program Kecemerlangan UPSR 2011 )

- English Language teachers involved in the ELITE Programme for Yr 5 pupils in school ( Pupils paid tuition fees )

- English Language teachers attended the KSSR English courses , English Workshops on UPSR English Paper and conducted in-house training sessions.

- Teaching & Learning Activities In The Classrooms
- Vocabulary Power - Teachers provide lists of words according to themes or
topics.
- Vocabulary Books - Each pupil has to keep his or her own Vocabulary Book with
list of words and their meanings or sentences.
- ACTIVE Programme ( Mdm Oon's Kajian Tindakan project ) - Pupils construct sentences based on pictures according to
the correct tenses.
- My Yellow Book ( author, Pn Hjh Norhaizan Mahussin ) - Pupils refer to this book to construct sentences using correct sentence structures and notes given.
- Learning English Through Pop Songs - Pupils sing songs from the Song Book and
CDs ( Song Package Project by SK Selama English Panel - 2006 )
- Interactive lessons from KPM English CDs and Text Book CDs.
- Fun activities - poems, jazz chants, choral speaking, short plays , role-plays,
choral reading, spelling games , language games, quizzes etc.
- Contemporary Literature for Yrs 4,5 & 6
- Extensive Reading for Yr 3 & 4
- English Corners Activities
- Posters & Notice Boards

presented, "Go After Your Dreams"
